Renan Andrade (Rio de Janeiro, 1995) is a visual artist whose practice unfolds between oil painting and installation, exploring themes related to memory and affection. His research approaches painting as a space of listening — a place where memory can be reorganized, absences elaborated, and affections sustained. The artist works with fragments of everyday life — ordinary scenes, family photographs, and snippets of conversation — to construct images that do not seek to represent reality, but to explore the tension between what remains and what is missing.
